Hi folks! Welcome to our NotCentralised newsletter focusing on AI. We’ve brought it over from doing it for the year at DSAI (Data Science and AI Association of Australia). With all the AI work we’re doing at NotCentralised, we wanted to keep our community informed about all the goings on we’re seeing in the AI space. Also, fun fact, for those who don’t know, we also write the Aus DeFi Association weekly newsletter, so keeping folks informed across the emerging tech space really is our thing (along with all the stuff we’re building!).
So with that said, let’s get to our newsletter.
Local Highlights
First up, we got to interview the great Steve Nouri founder of Genai Works (the media entity behind Generative AI which is already followed by more than 3 million people and the fastest growing group on the platform in 2023). We spoke about a lot of topics from the good and the bad of AI so check that out here.
We also got to feature our latest feature in SIKE which helps with ideation, brainstorming and getting insights out of your notes in an easy to use manner. You’ll see more of this soon but for now, check it out in the latest Founders’ Journey newsletter from our Director, Mark Monfort here.
Well done to Annie Liao for this feature in the Sydney Morning Herald – see more here.
And the Builder Club community over in Adelaide doing their thing – see here.

A double-edged sword here with AI agents doing the work of 700 real life humans at Klarna. It’s handling mundane tasks for now which is a safe approach but it just shows the need for more AI education to get out there so humans remain in the loop with processes and work. Read more here.

Believe you with this from Alibaba Group and their new emo model which turns images into realistic talking heads. Crazy stuff here.
We’ll leave you with this Elon lawsuit against Sam Altman. Is this just a fishing expedition or legit concerns. Seems like the former for the SVIC guys think that’s the case.
